Depending on when you implemented these changes, perhaps this increase could have be attributed to the fact that more people have learned about Twitter - what it is, does, delivers, and so on. Have you compared your growth against the averages to see how you stack up?

have you considered that your follower numbers may have been skewed slightly as you get more traffic due to link-sharing?

also: love your general layout for your site. slick graphics always, as a designer, make me pretty damn happy. :)

The increase from the lower-case "t" might be because the official logo uses a lower-case "t". Most people are familiar seeing the lower case "t" such as the icon used in the Twitter login button above.

While appalling to most web designers, "click here" can really lift in emails.

Hi Dustin. First: In both later and previous articles you talk about companies alienating their customers/users by segregating them into groups based on gender, race or lifestyle. Now you proceed to start pigeonhole me by addressing your readers as "average" people? I'm probably more average than I realize, but if nothing else as a blog reader I just found this mildly off putting.

Secondly: While I take issue with the tone of your writing, you make very, very valid points in the process. Kudos for articulated posts that actually teach and deal with user experience.

That's no substitute for good linking. A screen reader will often read out all the links on a page. Listening to multiple instances of "here" will do nothing to help a blind or partially sighted user to navigate effectively.
